My Story to PHIBROW MICROBLADING & LASH SPECIALIST

My road to where I am now has been interesting and not expected by me 10 years ago.
As a stay at home mum I wanted to get some income for myself that was my own so I did a spray
tanning course and started doing mobile spray tanning. I remember the trainer telling me that I was
going to end up in Beauty and I laughed at her..no way!!!

BUT
I found that I liked making my clients happy, I heard so many stories of bad ‘tanning’ jobs done and
strove to make mine a deluxe tanning service for my clients.

The following year I found a VTCT course to become a Beauty Therapist that allowed me to train in
modules, select my hours of training. I met the trainer and told her my plan to accelerate my
completion of the course, and she told me that it had not been done before. The complete course in
3 months!!! She was used to having someone want to complete one module and then go onto the
next and take up to 2 years to complete the qualification. I was not deterred, I put in the hours, the
work, practice, long hours and little sleep. I was lucky to have great support from my family. So
external examiners from the UK came, examined, evaluated my work, I got the scores, passed all
exams and became a VTCT qualified Beauty Therapist level II.

Through working as a Beauty therapist I decided to get my eyelashes done with extensions. I
absolutely hated the work, the job done was terrible. I decided to train in Eyelash Extensions to
provide my ladies with a better service and became a Master in Classic. Both with Eyelash
Extensions and Eyebrows I found I loved working with them and finally, after months of deliberation,
made the decision to focus exclusively on Eyelashes and Eyebrows.

I have gone on to specialise in Eyebrow Microblading, also known as 3D Eyebrow Embroidery with
Elizabeth Oakes. I became one of the first PHIBrow qualified in Eyebrow Microblading Artist in Cork.
I have also become qualified in Permanent Make up so I can cater for all skin types and requests.
I have also extended my Master certification in Eyelash Extensions to include Russian Volume
extensions from a trainer in the UK.

I pride myself on my quality of work, creating a peaceful atmosphere for you, making the time as
relaxing for you as possible, listening to you talk or hearing you gently snore, the choice is yours.
I create lovely natural looks in all I do and always after consulting with you about what you want to
achieve with the treatment. I listen and advise then with my knowledge built up through the years
with experience and training.

My work ethos is ‘My client comes first, her comfort, her wants, my time is hers to help her be a
more beautiful version of her lovely self’
